Awarded 2020 Freddie Ann Regan-Chandler was inducted into the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association Hall of Fame in 2020, honoring a remarkable 50-year career dedicated to pioneering care for underserved and complex patient populations. A trailblazer from the start, she developed innovative multidisciplinary programs for individuals with severe developmental disabilities and later helped lead statewide autism education initiatives. Her passion for reaching the "unreachable" has led her to train countless professionals locally and abroad, including in Russia and Rwanda. As founder of Partners in Physical Therapy, she merged neurological and orthopedic expertise to create groundbreaking treatments for some of the most challenging patients. Freddie Ann's unwavering mission to bring hope and healing to those often overlooked cements her legacy as a true icon in the field.

Erin MacInnes
Friend of Physical Therapy Award

Awarded 2023 We are proud to recognize Erin MacInnes, LCSW, MSW, who received the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association's Friend of Physical Therapy Award. Erin has been instrumental in advancing the integration of mental and emotional health into physical therapy practice. Through her collaboration with our team at Partners in Physical Therapy, Erin has empowered clinicians with tools such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care techniques, significantly enhancing treatment outcomes for patients experiencing chronic pain and emotional barriers to care. Her work has included lecturing at the APTA LA Symposium, training physical therapists across the state, and directly supporting patients whose progress depended on addressing both body and mind. Erin's contributions have opened access to therapy for patients who may otherwise have been unreachable, making her a true champion of holistic, patient-centered care.
