Blaine Cronce
Tell us a little about yourself (ex: Where did you grow up? Where did you go to school? What brought you to LC?)
I grew up in Deridder, but graduated high school from Merryville in 1994. I moved to Lake Charles to attend McNeese State University.
How long have you been with PIPT?
10 years, 2 months
What drew you to physical therapy?
Back in 2004, my father was injured in a fall that resulted in an incomplete C3-C4 spinal cord injury. His rehab process at the VA in Houston drew me to the field.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
I enjoy using my mind and hands to make people feel better.
What do you do for fun (ex: hobbies; crafts; volunteer; coach; watch football etc)?
I like to read, watch sports, spend time with friends and family, and put together Lego architecture sets.
Anything exciting on the horizon/ or just happened (ex: just completed a fellowship; taking a trip; training for a marathon; applying to PT school; got a new dog, etc)?
I will become a Pilates instructor, going to 4 LSU Basketball games in the next few months. I also just go a replacement Purple Heart medal for my dad’s military service.
